In the Winter of 2012, I worked with a team of two other grad students to build a Marketing and Communication Strategy for a local start-up publisher. Since I knew the company personally, I served as the project lead, scheduling meetings with the client, translating their industry knowledge and position into project objectives, and coordinating team efforts. I also did the style and copyediting of the final piece to give as much consistency as possible to the strategy’s voice.
