Once you have approved a proposal, we will schedule a kick-off meeting to discuss your project in detail. At that time we will together determine a timeline and action items for the next step, and identify resources that need to change hands or be acquired (marketing assets, stock photos or fonts to be licensed, etc.). Based on the set timeline, each project typically goes through three rounds of reviews: project direction approval, primary revisions, and final tweaks. Major revisions or project re-directions beyond this allowance may incur additional costs (please take the time to review project direction and necessary changes thoroughly before giving feedback!). For larger, or complex projects, this process will apply to each piece. Project files will be transferred via a secure, shared Dropbox folder, unless you provide access to another preferred method of file transfer.
Deliverables and Ownership.
Clients will receive high-resolution raw files, proofs, print-ready files (if applicable), and ready-to-use graphic files in all necessary file types and sizes (as applicable). Clients will also receive original files for any licensed content (i.e., fonts and stock photos) that are purchased for the project. Clients retain full ownership of all designs in all stages. Bizzy Schorr retains the right to use designs and purchased assets for portfolio samples.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at or before the project kick-off meeting. A final invoice will be sent after final approval of project proofs and must be paid before delivery of final project files. Payment is accepted via check made out to Elizabeth Schorr, debit or credit card via Square, or via Pay Pal. Please note that any third party costs such as printing or asset licensing (fonts, stock images, etc.) are not included in my prices; these costs will be forwarded to the client.
Future work on a project may be terminated via written communication from the lead client contact (email will suffice). At this point, the client will receive any project files as they are with no additional revisions or exports, along with all third party assets purchased for the project. The initial project deposit is not refundable, but will be applied towards a pro-rated service fee of $60 per hour for work completed. A final invoice with this service fee along with any incurred project costs will be sent to the client and must be paid within 30 days.
